EPCglobal Accredits to Four RFID Testing Centers

EPCglobal, an organization that develops global RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) standards, has announced the accreditation of four RFID testing centers, including the Pacific RFID Performance Solutions in Hsinchu, Taiwan, the METRO Group AG/GS1 Germany RFID Test Center in Neuss, Germany, the Auto-ID Sensing Technologies Performance Test Center in Winsconsin and the RFID Research Center in Ark,

USA

. As the only Asian site that has won EPCglobal's award, the Pacific RFID Performance Solutions founded by Taiwan's ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute) will participate in the establishment of global standards while acting as EPCglobal's authorized accreditation test center.
